【動手做】加點巧思

20070513 insalataProsciutto and salad are one of the dishes on our light menu. Normally I put salad into the red salad bowl and then mix it with olive oil, peeper, and very little salt.

義大利的火腿薄片加上綠色的沙拉,一向是我們兩人清淡菜單中的一道。通常,我將從超市買的綠葉沙拉倒入紅色的沙拉碗中,然後淋上橄欖油、灑上胡椒及少許的鹽後,慢慢地混合。
Sometimes I cut prosciutto into pieces and mix it with salad. Sometimes S prefers to put prosciutto aside so he can taste the balance.

有時候,我會將火腿切得更細小加入紅色沙拉碗中,用火腿本身的鹹味帶替鹽。有些時候,S則喜歡將火腿另外放,因為這樣才可以嚐出兩者不同卻相容的味道。

This time while S was working hard on Saturday noon, I decided to make the salad different. I mixed salad with olive oil and pepper, put some on prosciutto slice, and then roll it. That’s it!!

這天我趁著S在週六中午趕工時,替沙拉換一個造型。一如往常地將沙拉用橄欖油與胡椒調味,接著將火腿薄片在盤子上攤平,放上調好味的沙拉,接著用萬能的雙手將它捲起來!將、將,好囉!

S was surprised because he’s never seen anything like that, except when we had Korean food in Taiwan. He insisted to put cheese before I took picture. It proved to be a good idea. Well done my honey.

照片中的起士薄片是S堅持在我拍照前一定要放上的,他說這樣比較美觀呀!果然看我拍照拍久了,他也會裝盤的藝術哩!
