Hi, I am Gloria. Taiwanese by birth and Italian by love.
My goal is to tell stories of things I’m most passionate about – wine & food: stories about winemakers and wines that whispers to my soul, stories about chefs and food that warms my heart, stories about places where wine & food are in perfect harmony, and stories of many others.
Before following my heart to Milan in 2007, my passion for food & wine was like dormant seeds. When I started to comprehend Italian, I soaked myself in everything this boot-shaped country has to offer. I started exploring the vast varieties of Italian wines, discovering differences among regional cuisines, and experimenting with food/wine pairing. The seeds of passion just sprouted!
While I enjoyed learning by doing, I also nurtured myself with solid knowledge. I completed the sommelier course held by AIS (Associazione Italiana Sommelier) in 2012 and WSET Level 3 in 2013. More recently, I took a Master Course in Viticulture and Wine Marketing and a two-day intensive course at Barolo & Barbaresco Academy – Langhe Wine School.
