中秋月餅應該配啥酒好呢?

旅居歐洲算算也 16 個年頭了,中秋節一直都是日曆上的一天,沒有烤肉、沒有月餅,偶爾買得到文旦柚子,但也不是中秋日。後來有機會跟香港公司工作,那幾年的廣式月餅🥮沒少過,但心裡想念的還是好多年沒吃過台式月餅,特別是小時候最愛的綠豆椪!

今年機緣巧合下,訂購荷蘭梅月姐的手工月餅,收到立刻嗑一顆梅子酥當午餐後的甜點,餡是甜而不膩,外皮是記憶中的柔軟…

啊,姐吃的不是月餅,是家鄉味啊!

咳咳,回到主題,來說說的月餅搭什麼飲料好呢?

廣式跟台式月餅的差異,吃過的朋友都清楚。廣式的較為豐厚、台式的較為淡雅,在搭配上,沒有比茶更好的了!我個人覺得廣式可以搭普洱或烏龍茶,而台式的,可能就選綠茶高山茶了吧!

廣式月餅也可以選用烈酒來搭配,台式月餅,左思右想,似乎不太適合。如果要搭葡萄酒,那麼記得選上帶點甜味的酒。

我大概會用風味比較濃醇的 Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice, Passito di Pantelleria, 或 Porto 來搭廣式月餅,但台式的話,大概就是 Picolit 或者 Moscato Giallo 了吧,喜歡帶點氣泡的 Moscato d’Asti 就是首選囉。

In about two weeks, part of Asia will celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the full-moon day of the lunar calendar’s 8th month. We say “yue-yuan-ren-tuan-yuan 🌕 月圓人團圓,” meaning that “when the moon is full, families and friends are reunited.” ㊗️ The festivities include BBQ, eating moon-cakes and pomelos, and admiring the beautiful moon.

🥮 There’s a big difference between the Cantonese and the Taiwanese mooncakes. Though both use bean paste, the former has a richer and denser flavor while the latter is lighter and fluffier.

🍵 It’s best to pair with tea. Pu-erh or Oolong tea should be great for Cantonese-style, and for Taiwanese-style, you might want to select delicate Matcha or Green tea.

🍷If pairing with dessert wine, I might choose Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice, Passito di Pantelleria, or Porto for Cantonese-style, and Moscato Giallo (passito) or Picolit for Taiwanese-style.
